Delegated decision:

That the Minutes of the last meeting held on 28 May 2009 be approved and signed as a correct record.

S.196 STANDARDS HEARING PANEL
Delegated decision:

1. That the minutes of the meeting of the Standards Committee (Hearing Panel) held on 13 August 2009 be noted.

2. That the training to be given to the Member concerned be offered to all Members of the Council.

S.197A report of the Monitoring Officer was submitted which summarised information on complaints against the Council received by the Ombudsman for 2007/2008 and 2008/2009.
S.198A report which provided information on the number of complaints and compliments received during the financial year 2008/2009 was submitted for information.

Councillor Creswell asked Members to ensure that any complaints/compliments referred directly to them should also be directed through the 5353 Customer Care Line to ensure that they were logged and monitored.
