P.003 FUTURE SITE VISITS

That consideration of the following application be deferred to the next meeting of this Committee on 27 May 2003, in view of the fact that the impact of the proposed development on the surrounding area is difficult to appreciate from photographs and drawings and, that arrangements be made for the Committee to visit the following sites:-

P.001Members of the Committee were asked to consider whether they had an interest in any matters to be discussed at the meeting and the following interest was declared:
Councillor Davison (Application number 40190/02)
P.005A report of the Borough Planning and Economic Development Officer was submitted regarding the criteria and procedures involved to decide on a Committee visit. The report demonstrated how the procedures could be interpreted in a more specific way in order to ensure greater transparency in the decision making process and more effective use of Committee Members’ time.
P.006The Chair, on behalf of the Committee, took the opportunity the express his thanks and appreciation for the work and commitment of Councillor Mason during her time as a member of the Committee.
