That application 52082 (retrospective) regarding land at Whittles, Turton Road, Tottington (Tottington Ward) for the erection of agricultural building be refused for the following reason:- The extension to the barn, by reason of its height size and position would be severely detrimental to the visual amenity of both the nearby residents and the area in general as well as the openness and character of the Green Belt and would therefore conflict with Unitary Development Plan Policies OL4/5 - Agricultural Development, OL1/2 - New Buildings in the Green Belt, EN9/1 - Special Landscape Areas and OL7/2 - West Pennine Moors.
