Councillor Wright declared a prejudicial interest in respect of Planning application 59501 having provided advice and support to the Applicant in respect of this planning application.

Delegated decision:

That the Minutes of the meeting held on 24 May, 2016 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

A report from the Development Manager was submitted in relation to the applications for planning permission.  Supplementary information was also submitted in respect of application numbers: 59005; 59501; 59715; 59971.

The Committee heard representations from applicants and/or objectors in respect of the applications submitted.  This was limited to three minutes for each speaker.

    Removal of 1 no. storage container, retention of 1 no. storage  container and relocation of 1 no. storage container

    59501  Land at rear of 4 Carr Bank Avenue, Ramsbottom, Bury -  Ramsbottom & Tottington, Ramsbottom Ward

    Change of use of land to residential garden with erection of decking/steps and pond structures

    (Note: The Committee approved the Officer recommendation for a SplitDecision in respect of this application).

2.That the Committee be Minded to Approve the following applications in accordance with the reasons put forward by the Head of Development Management in the report and supplementary information submitted and subject to the conditions included:

    59005  Land off Factory Street, Ramsbottom, Bury -  Ramsbottom & Tottington Ward

    Demolition of buildings and redevelopment of use Class C2 residential   accommodation with care comprising 57 apartments for persons aged 65 and over

3. That consideration of the following application be Deferred to the next scheduled meeting of the Planning Control Committee, for the reason as detailed by the Head of Development Management in the Supplementary Information submitted:

59715  Redisher Works, Holcombe Old Road, Ramsbottom, Bury - Ramsbottom & Tottington - Ramsbottom Ward

Demolition of existing buildings and erection of 22 no. dwellings including        works to culvert end watercourse
