A report from the Development Manager was submitted in relation to the applications for planning permission.  Supplementary information was also submitted in relation to planning applications 62220 and 62546.

1.     The Committee be Minded to Approve to the following application in accordance with the reasons put forward by the Head of Development Management in the report and supplementary information submitted and subject to the conditions included:

 

62220  Elizabethan Public House, Ribble Drive, Whitefield, Manchester – Whitefield & Unsworth – Besses Ward

 

Demolition of public house and erection of 15 no. dwellings

 

2.     That the following application be deferred to the next scheduled meeting of the Planning Control Committee:-

 

62546  Land adjacent to 436 Walmersley Road, Bury – Bury East – Moorside Ward

Erection of 6 no. dwellings

 

Note: The application was deferred for a site visit.  Councillor Holt proposed the site visit and this was seconded by Councillor Harris.  The Committee voted unanimously in favour of the site visit and no further discussions took place in relation to this application.

Thanks

Minutes:

On behalf of Members of the Planning Control Committee, Councillor Preston thanked the Officers from the Development Management Team for their diligence and hard work in support of the work of the Planning Control Committee and for their continued success in support of the Authority’s Development Management service.

 

Councillor Preston also thanked Councillor Black for her support of the work of the Planning Control Committee in her role as Chair and wished Councillor Black every success during her Mayoral Year for 2018/19.

 

Councillor Preston thanked Councillor Kerrison for her attendance and support as a Member of the Planning Control Committee during the last two years and passed on her best wishes for the future.
