Nomination of Chair Minutes: Delegated decision:
That, in the absence of the Chair, Councillor Preston, Councillor McGill be nominated as Chair for this meeting of the Planning Control Committee. The nomination was proposed by Councillor Cummings and seconded by Councillor Thomas.

Planning Applications PDF 855 KB Additional documents: Minutes: A report from the Development Manager was submitted in relation to the applications for planning permission. Supplementary information was also submitted in relation to planning applications 62835 and 63925.
The Committee heard representations from applicants and/or objectors in respect of the applications submitted. This was limited to three minutes for each speaker.
Prior to the Committee meeting, a site visit took place in respect of planning application 63925.
Delegated decisions:
1. That the Committee Approve the following applications in accordance with the reasons put forward by the Head of Development Management in the report and supplementary information submitted and subject to the conditions included:-

Note: The decision to Approve with Conditions the application is subject to the addition of the following condition:-
Condition 12. No trees shall be felled, lopped or topped prior to, during or following the development of the site hereby approved without the written approval of the Local Planning Authority. Reason. To avoid the loss of trees which are of amenity value to the area pursuant to Policy EN1/2 - Townscape and Built Design, H2/2 - The Layout of New Residential Development and H2/6 - Garden and Backland Development of the Bury Unitary Development Plan.

Minutes: The Head of Development Management submitted a report providing an annual update to the Committee setting out the key matters and changes that affect the Development Management Team, its process and the Planning Control Committee.
Councillor McGill thanked Officers for the report and commended the Development Management Team who, as referred to in 5.2 of the report are one of the leading authorities in delivering decisions that maintain it at the top of the authorities in the country.
