Members of Human Resources Committee are asked to consider whether they have an interest in any of the matters on the Agenda, and, if so, to formally declare that interest.

There were no declarations of interest made at the meeting.

To consider passing the appropriate resolution under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business since they involve the likely disclosure of the exempt information stated.

Delegated decision:

That in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business since they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information relating to employees of the Council.

A report from Councillor Rishi Shori, Leader of the Council is attached.

               Tracy Murphy presented a report from the Leader of the Council setting out the process to be used for the recruitment of a new Chief Executive. The report explained the need for a robust recruitment exercise to be undertaken in order that the best candidates possible apply for the position. The report also set out the proposed timescale for the recruitment process.

               It was agreed:

               That the process and timescales set out in the report be approved.
