EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

To consider passing the appropriate resolution under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business since they involve the likely disclosure of the exempt information stated.

RECRUITMENT OF A CHIEF EXECUTIVE

A report from Councillor Rishi Shori, Leader of the Council is attached.

Minutes:

               Tracy Murphy presented a report from the Leader of the Council setting out the process to be used for the recruitment of a new Chief Executive. The report explained the need for a robust recruitment exercise to be undertaken in order that the best candidates possible apply for the position. The report also set out the proposed timescale for the recruitment process.

 

               It was agreed:

 

               That the process and timescales set out in the report be approved.
