GREATER MANCHESTER YOUTH NETWORK - WORKSHOP

GMYN has recently been commissioned by Bury Clinical Commissioning Group to undertake an analysis to identify the mental health and well-being needs of vulnerable and hard to reach groups of young people in Bury. In order to support this work we are looking to engage with inspiring local youth organisations to deliver interactive consultation workshops with young people

The workshop will aim to gather the views of young people in relation to their needs and the services/projects they access.

Minutes:

Joel from the Greater Manchester Youth Network explained that he was working with Bury CCG to gather opinions of young people in relation to health provision across the borough. The information gathered would be fed back to the CCG and would be used to look at what services were provided for young people and how they could be improved.

Those present split into groups and discussed the different health services that young people accessed and any issues around using them such as transport, advertising, opening hours etc.

All of the information gathered would be collated and presented to the CCG.

It was agreed:

That Joel be thanked for his attendance at the Youth Cabinet
