Members of the Employment Panel are asked whether they have an interest in any of the matters on the agenda and, if so, to formally declare that interest.

There were no declarations of interest made at the meeting.

The minutes of the meeting held on 4 February 2025 are attached for approval and accuracy.

It was agreed that the notes of the meeting held on 4 February 2025 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

To consider passing the appropriate resolution under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business since they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information.

It was agreed:

1.    To exclude the press and public.

The Employment Panel  received a report setting out proposals in relation to the position of Assistant Director (Public Protection and Resilience).

To confirm the proposals as set out within the report and progress to interview stage.
