Agenda and minutes

Members of the Employment Panel are asked whether they have an interest in any of the matters on the agenda and, if so, to formally declare that interest.

There were no declarations of interest made at the meeting.

To consider passing the appropriate resolution under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following items of business since they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information.

It was agreed:

1.    To exclude the press and public.

Update fronm the Director of Public Health and A D Human Resources.

Jon Hobday, Director of Public Health briefed Members on the process to date in relation to the recruitment of a Public Health Consultant.

It had been agreed at the meeting of the employment payment to consider shortlisting of the post that 4 candidates would progress to the Member Panel interviews. Jon explained that since that meeting, one of the candidates had withdrawn their application.

There was no urgent business.
