Proposed implementation on site of a new Toucan Crossing on the A56 Manchester Road just north of Gigg Lane. This new Toucan crossing is proposed to be introduced as part of Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM’s) Beelines Tranche 5 initiative.

 

 

27/11/2020 - Proposed implementation on site of a new Toucan Crossing on the A56 Manchester Road just north of Gigg Lane. This new Toucan crossing is proposed to be introduced as part of Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM’s) Beelines Tranche 5 initiative.

Further to the decision of the Traffic Management Unit (item 3f – 30th July 2019) (and no objections being received following the formal recent advertisement process) to approve for implementation on site the proposals to introduce a new Toucan crossing on the A56 Manchester Road in Bury just north of Gigg Lane as part of TfGM’s Tranche 5 Beelines initiative.
