Temporary Closure under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
to close Square Street to traffic between Smithy Street and Bridge
Street, from
17/10/21 for a period of 18 months to continue to facilitate
the
recovery/reopening of businesses (particularly hospitality)
following COVID19.
The alternative route will be via Smithy Street, Bolton Street and
Bridge Street.
