On the 11 March 2026 Cabinet agreed to
Children’s Services bringing the Youth Justice Service back
in house meaning an end to the SLA in place with Rochdale Council
by August 2026. The Cabinet report set out a proposal, a costed
structure and this included a Head of Service.
