Urgent temporary closure under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of Trimingham Dr between Sheringham Dr & Dereham Cl from Tuesday 12/01/21 for a period of 5 days to facilitate replacement of a manhole frame & cover (anticipated duration 1 day). The diversion route is via Trimingham Dr, Brandlesholme Rd & Hunstanton Dr & vice versa.

The Council is facing a significant financial challenge and has set an ambitious target of driving out £5m over the next 2 financial years through transformation. It is recognised that the Council does not have the necessary skills and capacity to take this forward and is therefore looking to procure a transformation partner to provide support and insight on what can be achieved. The extension of an agency/locum childcare lawyers contract in the Social Care team within Legal Services, is requested from 31 December 2020 until 31 March 2021.

Temporary closure under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of various roads in Bury (listed on attached) from 09/02/21 for a period of 12 months to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works (anticipated duration of works 4 months). Closures will only be implemented as and when required. Local diversions will be signed on site where applicable.

Temporary closure under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of Mather Avenue, Prestwich between Kings Rad and Richmond Avenue from Monday 22/02/21 for a period of 1 month to facilitate carriageway repairs (anticipated duration of works is 1 day). The diversion route will be via Kings Road, Mildred Avenue and Richmond Avenue and vice-versa.

Due to a recent cabinet report submitted at November’s Cabinet meeting on the 24th November 2020, a proposal, as part of a wider report, included the option to close the civic venue service.

To agree to use the GMCA Framework Agreement for the Supply of Street Lighting Electrical Connection Services 2020 to 2024, which has been awarded to Altitude Services Limited, Hapton, Lancashire.
