On the 1st June 2017 Bury Council entered into a contract with The Relationship Hub (North West) Limited (then known as Relate GM North) for the provision of Council & Psychotherapy Services for the provision of counselling and psychotherapy services in order to assist its employees in making a speedier recovery from various health conditions. The contract period ran for two years with an option to extend for a further twelve months.

The One Commissioning Organisation (OCO) directorate raises a number of Adult Social Care specific fees and charges. In accordance with the Council’s Financial Regulations, there is a requirement to review fees and charges on an annual basis.

Jigsaw are a charitable organisation who provide peer support, volunteer services and social activities for young disabled people as well as a project called Jigsaw Link which connects people over 55 years to prevent isolation where people are un-befriended.

Domestic Abuse in Bury is overseen by the Community Safety Partnership and, in turn, a Domestic Abuse Strategic Group. There are a number of commissioned services that deliver Domestic Abuse provision in the borough, some commissioned locally and some at a GM level.

It is proposed to write to all households in Bury to provide assurance that the elections will be carried out safely and securely. All means of voting will be included together with a reminder to register to vote. Key deadlines will be included in the letter.

In April 2020 The Council became a participant in the AGMA contract for the provision of an Employee Assistance Programme involving Counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), a 24/7/365 helpline and an online portal/mobile application to support the welfare of the employees.
