Further to the recommendation of the Traffic Management Unit (minute number – 4237) to approve for advertising the proposal for the introduction of No Waiting at Any time restrictions and part revocation of Waiting restriction. The Crescent/Mountfield/Brookfield/Deyne Avenue, Prestwich– ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions (junction protection).

Establishment of an information stand displaying information about the Lancashire Wildlife Trust, letting people know about the nature reserves available for people to go and visit. They will not be collecting cash or handing out leaflets.

The alternative route will be via Parr Lane and Swinton Crescent and vice-versa and/or via Parr Lane and Montgomery Drive and vice-versa.

Temporary prohibition of left turn/closure of slip road under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, of the slip road from Manchester Road into Radcliffe Road from Sunday 09/05/21 for a period of 5 months to facilitate tree cutting works (anticipated duration of works one day). The alternative route is via Manchester Road, Wellington Road, Market Street and Parkhills Road.
