worked in partnership with the GMCA to submit an £8.5 million
bid to the Government’s Public Sector Decarbonisation Fund.
This bid was successful, and the Council were awarded 100% funding
for carbon reduction measures at key Council owned
buildings.

companies responded, both didn’t complete the tender forms
correctly, one company supplied no details on what equipment will
be installed the other one supplied details on a separate quote.
The decision has been based on best value and evidence of which
units will be supplied. Funding for this is from the capital
budget.
