Reason for urgency:
Salford Council has agreed to act as the lead provider for this contract. Given the timescales, we need members to make a decision in April 2025 to enable us to invite providers to tender from 19th May. Without a May cabinet meeting, waiting until June is not feasible and would prevent us from joining this retender, and consequently having to go out and retender alone which causes more risks and disruptions.
